Training

South Africa give skills development courses to students wanting to help in the spiritual care sector of the Khothatsong Aids Committee. We focus on inserve training for the workers in the hospice and the Home Based Carers in the field. The staff receive updated courses and training as required.

The Khothatsong Aids Committee tries to create a sustainable system. One of the key aspects in creating this is to train people to do their work. The skills that need to be developed are very diverse, varying from spiritual support to physical support for people infected or affected by HIV/Aids. A capacity building program through hands at work is underway.
